SPRING 2025

Intro to Pistol from March 30th-May 11th 2025

Join AJM for Intro to Pistol, a class series designed for beginners and those looking to build a strong foundation in firearm safety, handling, and marksmanship. Led by Scott Henson, a certified and insured Rangemaster instructor with over 15 years of experience, this course will teach you pistol confidence and competence through classroom instruction, dry practice, and live fire training. This class is for ages 18+.

When: Sundays 10:00-11:30am March 30th-May 11th, 2025 (live fire class will be off-site)

What: This 5 class series will be broken into two parts: 4 hands-on training sessions at AJM covering firearm safety, marksmanship, reloading, malfunction handling, and use-of-force laws, and 1 live fire class to apply skills in a real shooting environment (4 hours, off-site). This class is beginner-friendly, and you do not need equipment to participate. You can rent a pistol and ammo for $25 for the live fire class.

Who: Classes will be taught by Scott Henson, a certified and insured Rangemaster instructor with over 15 years of training experience. A dedicated martial artist, Scott holds black belts in Judo and Karate and a purple belt in Jiu-Jitsu. Scott is committed to helping students build confidence, competence, and a solid foundation in firearm safety and handling. When he's not training, he enjoys coaching his daughter's volleyball team and spending time with his Great Danes.

How Much: The 5-class package is $275 and includes a free 2- week trial to AJM’s Judo Program ($315 value). AJM members can register for a discounted rate of $250 (stop by the front desk to get registered).
