Sensei Matt Scheib is the owner of AJM. He is a yodan (fourth degree black belt) in Judo. Sensei Matt has been a judoka since the age of 13, and a lifelong martial artist since the age of 4. He was tournament director for the 2009 World Masters Judo Tournament, and the 2017 Georgia Games. Competing recreationally until 2014, he trained in France, South Korea, and under Olympic coaches at Pedro’s Judo Center in Wakefield, Mass. Today, Sensei Matt can be found coaching judoka at AJM as a USA Judo certified coach. His fight background has been a major resource to him as an Emmy-nominated stunt performer for TV and film.
