WELCOME TO

ATLANTA JUDO MIDTOWN

Judo, the "gentle way," is rooted in the principles of mutual benefit and welfare and maximum efficiency. Atlanta Judo Midtown was founded in 1995 by Sensei Dennis Scheib and is now led by his son Sensei Matt Scheib. Our dojo culture is based on those founding principles, and our instructors have over 150 years of combined experience and international training.

Located in Piedmont Heights, our 4200-square-foot facility is a space for all ages, featuring sprung-floor tatami, climbing ropes, and a full fitness area. Our lessons are curriculum-based and across all classes, everyone is learning the same techniques. Beyond our expert instruction in Judo, AJM supports stunt performers, previs, actor training, and film/tv stunt choreography.

Join us and discover why AJM is Georgia’s premier dojo for Judo beginners, competitors, wrestlers, and anyone seeking a new challenge.
